New Delhi: India seems to now be stronger than ever against the covid pandemic as the daily case count is declining every passing day – in the past 24 hours, on June 12, India logged 186 new cases of covid and 0 deaths. With this, the active case count declined to 2501.
Positivity rate is also witnessing a decline and the recovery rate stands at 98.8 per cent along and death rate at 1.19 per cent.
The coronavirus pandemic globally started in Wuhan, China in 2019. It entered India through Kerala in March 2020, the first lockdown was imposed thereafter. In January 2021, the vaccination drive started which continues till date.
